San Francisco, July 3: Elon Musk has revealed that the Tesla Cybertruck could be fitted with a 4-wheel directional steering, resulting in crab-like feature similar to that seen on the Hummer EV.
Musk has been hinting for the last 12 months that Tesla plans to unveil an up to date model of the Cybertruck ahead of when it starts being manufactured, which is still scheduled to take place later this 12 months.

“We’re adding rear-wheel steering, so it can do tight turns and very high agility maneuvering,” Musk said.

The CEO has been talking about Tesla improving the Cybertruck’s adaptive air suspension. He had also spoken of reducing the size of the truck. But Musk has killed that plan following a design overview back in May 2020.
The agency this week announced that it has manufactured and delivered more than 200,000 vehicles within the second quarter of 2021.
The electrical car firm manufactured 206,421 items and delivered 201,250 items within the second quarter.
Last week, Musk had told his staff that Tesla is “executing well”, but they need to “go all out” at end of quarter.
